About The Foundation

The Camillo Montana & Theresa Perniciaro "Music for Cancer Foundation"  

Founded in 2024 by Frank Montana and Thomas Perniciaro, the Camillo Montana & Theresa Perniciaro Music for Cancer Foundation was created in loving memory of their late parents, Camillo Montana and Theresa Perniciaro—both of whom lost their courageous battles with cancer. Inspired by their parents’ strength and love, Frank and Thomas established the 501c3 foundation to keep their memories alive and to support families facing the overwhelming challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis.

Our Mission: 

The foundation’s core mission is to raise funds for families enduring the emotional and financial toll of cancer. Every dollar donated goes directly to helping real people with real needs—whether it’s groceries, tuition, rent, utilities, or even saving for a future home. We strive to offer tangible relief in the areas that matter most during such difficult times.

Honoring Survivors Through Music:

In addition to financial support, we pay tribute to musicians, singers, and event-driven artists who are cancer survivors. These individuals serve as powerful symbols of hope and resilience, inspiring others through their stories and talents. They remind us all that survival and strength are possible—even in the darkest moments.

Annual Honoree Program: 

Each year, the foundation selects one primary honoree—a person currently battling cancer—whose family is also deeply affected by the experience. We understand that cancer doesn’t just impact the individual; it impacts the entire family. Our goal is to lift some of that burden by providing significant financial assistance tailored to their most pressing needs, whether that’s food, bills, household essentials, or educational expenses.​
